OpenBSD Forgejo (Gitea)

Make

Cross Compile on Linux (requires go compiler):

git clone https://codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo ~/forgejo
cd ~/forgejo
git reset --hard
git fetch
git checkout v15.0.4

CGO_CFLAGS= GOOS=openbsd TAGS="bindata" make build

Copy the gitea binary to /usr/local/sbin/gitea on the server.

Install

Dependencies:

pkg_add git bash

Database

Basic config at OpenBSD MariaDB

CREATE DATABASE gitea CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;
GRANT ALL ON gitea.* TO 'gitea'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '<password>';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
